Michele is an experienced, positive and energetic bartender, who is an active member in the global bar scene.
Within his career he has tended bar at the American Bar at The Savoy,where he has held a crucial role towards developing menus and service standards, which has contributed to the bar to achieving countless awards and recognitions in global scale.
After numerous trips to Asia, he launched a bar called Seven Tales, which that year was listed among the top 10 best new openings in Tales of the Cocktails just 2 months after opening. Among others, Michele has worked alongside the likes of Erik Lorincz, has been a finalist in Diageo Worldclass UK in 2015 and has held masterclasses in several countries around the world.
Before leaving London for Singapore, Michele worked on Out Of The Blue, a bar experience at The Blue Bar at the Berkeley, where guest where taken through an immersive journey aimed at enhancing the drinks, with the use of 360° projectors, controlled temperature and scent machines.
In his years in Singapore, Michele opened and managed MO Bar at The Mandarin Oriental, Singapore, a 5 Star Forbes property, where he developed crucial connections with local bartenders in south east Asia, and placed the bar in 50 Best Asia within 1 year of opening.
Michele now leads the bar programs in Gleneagles hotel, Scotland, where in his position as Head of Mixology he curates the content for all the bars across the resort. Michele also runs Unjiggered, a bartender podcast where he interviews industry leaders about their career, lives, and passion for Bartending. Michele’s drinks have a classic DNA with playful style, interesting ingredients and twists.
