Sergio Leanza is a London based bar owner, bartender and hospitality professional with over a decade of experience across bar operations, brand management and drinks advocacy. Originally from Saronno in Italy, he built his career in the UK drinks industry working across cocktail bars, events and brand activations before co-founding Funkidory in Peckham, a neighbourhood cocktail bar known for its music driven atmosphere and creative drinks programme.

Alongside running Funkidory, Sergio has worked extensively in brand advocacy and brand management within the spirits industry, leading trade education, events and partnerships while helping brands connect with bartenders and consumers across the UK. His work bridges both sides of the bar, combining hands on hospitality experience with a strong understanding of the drinks market, brand building and industry culture.

Sergio is passionate about independent hospitality, community led venues and mentoring the next generation of bartenders. He brings a practical bar perspective to judging, with a focus on balance, creativity, technical execution and real-world drinkability.
