Handcrafted using seasonally sourced local botanicals in Emerald Beach NSW Australia.

Emerald Island Distillery is perched up on the hills, overlooking the beautiful Pacific Ocean. From the windows, Distillers Viv & Frans can watch the sailing yachts and an occasional Humpback Whale breeching, as they migrate along the coastline. 

Though the distillery is located in Emerald Beach, the business was built around the legend of the mysterous Emerald Island (briefly described below and on the backs of the bottles). The artworks that adorn the inside of the bottles, are family artworks that were created in the 1950s by Viv's artist grandmother. The artworks were created around the tale of The Emerald Island (a detailed series of intrigate artworks) depicting the legendary characters below the seas.

There have been no recorded sightings of Emerald Island since 1821. First spotted by British sailing ship The Emerald, since then, though charted on seafaring maps, it has remained a phantom. However...standing at the Emerald Island Distillery, gazing out to the Solitary Islands, through the tropical haze you can just make out the green of a mysterious mirage...The Emerald Island!
