The Golden Woodpecker tastes like a short vacation and gives a deep insight into the traditional, innovative flavors of the Croatian culinary world!” The history of our products begins in the middle of the 19th century in the red land of Istria. For the Istrian farmer who tended the rich, red land, every day was a challenge. The work in the vineyards, olive gardens and fields was by no means easy, but the farmers knew even back then how important high-quality fruit was for a good product. Our exquisite fruits always come from regional farmers and some of our products are also included in the bottle. Another reason for the taste and quality of Goldspecht products is that they are stored in oak barrels, which are stored in a well that dates back to 1910.
