The Kaimai Brewing and Distilling Company Ltd is an artisan distillery based at the Waikino Hotel in the Karangahake Gorge between Waihi and Paeroa. The company began commercial production in September 2020 with the release of Elizas Claim Gold Gin which went on to claim a gold medal in the 2021 NZ Spirits awards.
Since then we have expanded our range which now includes six styles of Gin, an Apple Pie Moonshine and a Spiced Rum
