Carúpano Distillery located in the Hacienda Altamira, in the Macarapana Valley, represents the paradigm of the 260 years’ history of Ron Carúpano, since it is precisely in that property founded in 1762, where for the first time in Venezuela it is experienced the aging process of sugarcane spirits in oak barrels imported from Spain that originally contained wine.
