SOUTHWESTERN DISTILLERY – the first distillery to be established in Cornwall for over 100 years, is an independent, family company handcrafting high-end spirits on the wild coast of north CORNWALL. Driven by his passion for creating flavours, founder and self-taught head distiller, TARQUIN LEADBETTER left his job in the city of London and moved to Cornwall to set up the business in 2013 at the tender age of 24. Within that first year of learning to distil through trail and error, Tarquin was awarded 1 of 6 Gold Medals for all International gins from the IWSC for his flagship TARQUIN'S CORNISH GIN.
