Following her first sip of Hendrick's Gin back in 2012, Kim has been a huge fan of Gin. After boring her friends by talking about gin on her personal social media profile, she started @houseofhutchginson on Instagram in 2020, reviewing global gins and other spirits. 

The obsession turned into a passion for the spirits world and Kim obtained her WSET Level 3 in 2023. 

She fully immersed herself into the Spirits sector specialising in the Gin category. 

Kim started her own small business called Gintroductions in 2021. The premise of the business was to provide miniatures of Craft Gin in "Perfect Serve" packages to the consumer with them being able to mix and match from different distilleries predominately within the West Midlands . Gintroductions also offers Gin tasting events online and in-person for groups and couples at venues or in their own homes. 

Through the business Kim has made wonderful connections with Distillers and distilleries such as Penrhos Spirits, Black Mountain Botanicals, Ludlow Distillery, Haven Distillery, Stag Gin, Henstone and Rockfield Spirits.

Kim worked with Rockfield Spirits in 2023 offering Brand advice, she helped get two of their gins into Tanners Wines Ltd and encouraged them to go to local farm shops, restaurants and bars and they are now in over 150 outlets with a successful Gin tasting experience and Gin school which Kim assists with on an ad hoc basis and with two awards from the Gin guide and Peoples choice awards. 

Kim works as a freelance Brand Ambassador for Debest Distillery, Ludlow Spirits and Silver Circle working at Trade Shows and Tasting events.  Kim is on the Judging panel for the Peoples Choice Awards, The Gin Guide Awards and The Gin To My Tonic Awards.
