In 1980, José Ricardo Fucci and João Carlos Fucci, began the construction of a distillery to create an innovative process for the production of distillates, thus giving rise to the patent for multidistillation. The multi-distillation process caught the attention of large companies and the distillery got its first major customers, Cachaça Sagativa and Natural Drinks.
