Our guiding principles are a deep love for the product, a romantic notion that artisanal work should avoid modern machinery, and a commitment to create zero waste that honors the environment. Our respect for tradition makes us genuine, and our team work makes us brothers.

Nuija Gin is gently spicy, at the same time fresh and smooth, even slightly floral. Nuija's symbolic roots go back to the founding City of Lappeenranta in the 17th century with its wild forest inhabitants with their wooden clubs.

At Nuija Gin you will find the fresh breeze of Saimaa, the spring coniferous forest of South Karelia and the autumn berry harvest. The suitably wild but gentle spiciness will melt even the ice of the spring winter.

Our second product, artisanal Barrel aged Nuija gin derives its character from the forests of South Karelia and the landscape of Lake Saimaa. Its balanced taste combines the flavors of spring coniferous forests and autumn berries, enriched with warm, spicy notes. The color and flavor profile is the result of resting this gin in an oak barrel.
