Ten To One is the brainchild of proud Trinidadian entrepreneur Marc Farrell, who, after years serving as Starbucks’ youngest ever VP, set out to develop a series of rums that would reinvigorate the way people taste, experience and talk about the spirit. Since launching in 2019, Ten To One’s elegant dark and white expressions, which blend rums from Jamaica, Trinidad, the Dominican Republic and Barbados, have actively chipped away at traditional pirate and plantation tropes, unlocking a contemporary view of the Caribbean and its celebratory culture that continues to challenge category expectations. Now found in bars, restaurants and retailers in New York City and around the country, Ten To One has steadily built its DTC presence, released new limited-edition SKUs (including an Oloroso Sherry Cask Finish rum exclusively for Flaviar, a Bourbon Cask Finish rum in partnership with Uncle Nearest Premium Whiskey, a Founder's Reserve blend of 26- and 30-year-old Jamaican + Guyanese rums, and a Black History Month Artist edition of its dark rum in collaboration with celebrated painter, Devin B. Johnson) and found a business partner in GRAMMY Award-winning artist Ciara, who joined as an investor, co-owner and director for the brand.
