“The city of Sorrento and surrounding towns are historically reknown for their spectacular “Under Pergola Trained” lemon gardens, on terraced slopes , 200 to 500 meters above sea level.
This very peculiar type of farming results in perfect ripening and allows to minimize intervention.
We are a small family operation cooperating with other local small farmers and mostly growing Ovale Sorrentino (aka Limone Massese or Femminiello).
This type of lemon has a thin skin very rich in essential oils and Limonene, that performs best for the production of Limoncello.
We pick lemons in season upon request, peel them and infuse within a day with grain alcohol and sugar in very small batches. We rake manually and we bottle without adding aromas or stabilizers of sort.
Our product is the closest we can offer to our traditional family recipe.
The extraordinary quality of the lemons and local water source make the difference”
