About Gento Torigata
Gento Torigata was born in Tokyo in 1988. After graduating from university, he trained at a French restaurant and a Western-style confectionery shop in Tokyo, learning the basics of cooking and pastry-making. In 2013, he decided to become a bartender and joined the renowned bar “Aileron” in Ginza to acquire the foundation of bartending. He then pursued his career overseas and moved to Australia. After honing his skills in Sydney, he relocated to Singapore where he served as head bartender and bar manager at Sugarhall and Gibson, both under the Jigger & Pony group. He also worked as a project manager for the RTD cocktail project PONY, which was launched in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, overseeing product development and manufacturing.
