About Goodradigbee

Goodradigbee is a very different distiller from the adherents to the traditional scotch whisky production methodology. We mature spirits in Australian hardwood cubes, not French or American oak barrels that have had someone else’s sherry, port, or bourbon in them to provide flavour to the new make spirit. Goodradigbee is an innovation business that is establishing a completely new category – an Australian hardwood malt spirit. Using Australian hardwoods creates a unique provenance, and typically a soft, sweet, and mellow taste profile.

It is something we Aussie distillers can truly own, instead of copying the Scottish method like everyone else. The real opportunity is to differentiate Australian hardwood aged malt spirit, and Australian hardwood whisky. Goodradigbee is at the forefront of this new and hopefully burgeoning category.
