Rosalie Bay Distilling Handcrafted Dominica Single Rum

A premium small-batch spirit that protects Dominica’s marine life with every sip.

This agricole-style rum is approachable, fresh, and bright, with hints of citrus and a graceful sweetness. The finish is nice and clean, with lingering notes of powdered sugar and lemongrass. A hint of bitter lemon peel gives it contrast and structure.

Batch #1 of our agricole-style rum has already been internationally recognized, receiving a bronze medal  at the 2024 New York International Wine and Spirit Competition.  Limited additional varieties, including a selection of various cane expressions and bourbon cask-aged rum, will be released in the coming year.

Protecting  Dominica’s Ocean Life

Every dollar of revenue from rum sales directly supports our work to protect and preserve sea turtles and whales, and to restore coral reefs. We don’t mean a percentage of sales, but that the entire enterprise is designed to support ocean conservation and support our communities. We employ more than 80 small-scale farmers across Dominica, all harvesting by hand, none more than 40 minutes from the distillery.

Great Rum That’s Good for the Environment

We keep our ecological footprint small with solar power, rainwater storage for dry periods, and an on-site three-stage wastewater treatment plant that supplies clean water for irrigation. Our entire supply chain adheres to ethical sourcing, maximizing reuse, and zero waste.

Traceable from Farm to Glass.

RBD employs a detailed tracking system for maximum product transparency and quality control. This system enables the traceability of every bottle to the farm of origin.
