Know Your Bartenders: Osvaldo Romito, Bar Manager at Tribe Hotel, London

“Motivation is the real engine for constant improvement,” says Osvaldo Romito.

Osvaldo Romito, who has been in the hospitality industry for more than 15 years, talks about how he got inspired by other major bartenders. His desire to create innovative drinks brought him to London 9 years ago, and his continued research made him improve himself to work in a better way.

Your current place of work / Last place of work.

Tribe Hotel.

Tell us about yourself.

My name is Osvaldo Romito. I dedicated more than 15 years to the hospitality industry.

My experience starts as a bartender with tenacity and a desire to create innovation many years ago back in Italy, working between Pescara and Perugia. Then I moved to London 9 years ago, where I had the opportunity to meet and work with the major Bartender Names known from the industry. Working alongside them inspired me and developed my skills and knowledge in the F&B sector. Through my experience, I understood that motivation is the real engine that moves people to constant and continuous improvement.

Why did you want to become a Bartender?

The continued research and personal development behind the sector to guarantee a fantastic customer experience, it’s something that always guides me.

What do you look for when buying new products for your business?

The real engine that moves people to constant and continuous improvement is motivation.
