Meet the Judges: Craig Wallace, Master Blender, Global Whisky Portfolio – Diageo

Master Blender for Diageo’s global whisky portfolio, Craig Wallace brings nearly 30 years of blending expertise.

With nearly 30 years of experience in whisky, Craig Wallace serves as Master Blender for Diageo’s global whisky portfolio — one of the most prestigious roles in the industry. Over the course of his career, Craig has honed the craft of blending to balance tradition with innovation, ensuring that every bottle delivers consistency, complexity, and a distinct story.

For distilleries entering the London Spirits Competition, impressing Craig is a benchmark achievement, as his expertise represents the highest standards of whisky-making on a global stage.

Craig’s journey began in his early career, when he had the chance to work with some of the finest blenders and distillers in Scotland. That mentorship instilled in him not only technical skill but also a deep respect for whisky as an evolving cultural icon.
