The London Wine, Spirits, and Beer Competitions 2025 are delighted to announce phase 2 of the Regional and Category Ambassadors Program, and we invite industry leaders and influencers to join us on this exciting journey.
Currently, we are taking applications for the following spirits categories: Rum, Vodka, Tequila, Mezcal, Whiskey, Brandy, Liqueur, No and Low Spirits, and Cognac.
Our Regional and Category Ambassador Program is an exclusive opportunity for individuals worldwide to collaborate with the London Competitions, serving as the voice of our esteemed event. Ambassadors will showcase the unique narratives of their respective countries, regions, or categories, amplifying the presence of London Competitions on a global scale.
The London Competitions is currently taking applications for the following spirits categories: Rum, Gin, Vodka, Tequila, Mezcal, Whiskey, Brandy, Liqueur, No and Low Spirits, and Cognac.
1. Industry Professionals
- Sommeliers, bartenders, beverage directors, or wine merchants actively working in the wine, spirits, or beer industries.
- Professionals with expertise in the on-trade or off-trade beverage market.
2. Category Representatives
- Specialists in specific spirits categories who can bring a wealth of knowledge and authority. This includes:
- Rum Experts: Deep understanding of production styles, flavor profiles, and trends in the rum world.
- Gin Experts: Expertise in botanical blends, flavor diversity, and emerging gin brands.
- Vodka Experts: Knowledge of purity, smoothness, and global vodka trends.
- Tequila Experts: Understanding of agave production, regional nuances, and tequila classifications.
- Whiskey Experts: Specialization in bourbon, scotch, rye, or world whiskies.
- Experts in other spirits such as liqueurs, mezcal, brandy, and more.
3. Content Creators and Influencers
- Bloggers, social media influencers, or writers specializing in wine, spirits, or beer. In this case, we are looking for content creators of Rum, Vodka, Tequila, Mezcal, Whiskey, Brandy, Liqueur, No and Low Spirits, and Cognac.
- Demonstrated ability to engage an audience and share compelling, authentic content.
4. Networking Enthusiasts
- Individuals with strong industry connections who can encourage brands and professionals to participate. We are looking for professionals who have connections with the suppliers and leading distillers of Rum, Vodka, Tequila, Mezcal, Whiskey, Brandy, Liqueur, No and Low Spirits and Cognac.
- Active in their local beverage communities and able to build buzz about the competition.
5. Previous Participants or Judges
- Those who have previously entered, judged or supported the London Wine, Spirits, or Beer Competitions.
- Alumni who can share their firsthand experiences with new entrants.
- Judges who are experts in any category like Rum, Vodka, Tequila, Mezcal, Whiskey, Brandy, Liqueur, No and Low Spirits and Cognac.
6. Regional Representatives
- Beverage professionals from regions outside London who can extend the competition’s reach to new markets and audiences. We are looking for Ambassadors around the world.
- For example presidents of any category or country or region associations. Especially if a region or a country is focused on any category from this heavilty. Rum, Vodka, Tequila, Mezcal, Whiskey, Brandy, Liqueur, No and Low Spirits and Cognac.
7. UK Importers
Importers of specific spirits categories are particularly well-suited to join the Bartender Spirits Awards program as advocates. As importers, they bring a wealth of knowledge about:
- Unique spirits from different regions.
- Global trends in their category.
- The importance of quality and branding for the on-premise market.
Importers can leverage their expertise to promote their category, encourage participation in the competition, and build connections within the industry.
- Promoting the Competition: Actively sharing information via social media, professional networks, or local events.
- Category Expertise: Providing insights and educational content for your specific category (e.g., gin, whisky, wine, beer).
- Encouraging Participation: Inspiring producers, brands, and professionals to enter the competition.
- Spreading Awareness: Being a local or category-specific point of contact for the competition.
- Promoting the winners of your category globally
As esteemed partners, ambassadors will have the opportunity to contribute articles on Beverage Trade Network’s media assets and the London Competitions Social platforms. Share compelling stories about your regions, producers, brands, or categories and be a part of shaping the international narrative of excellence in the beverage industry.
This program provides a unique opportunity for individuals eager to be part of a global movement in celebrating the finest beverages and contributing to the narrative of excellence.
