More Feedback and Transparency For Entrants At The London Spirits Competition

More Feedback. More Transparency. More Market Insight.

The next edition, which marks the 10th edition of the London Spirits Competition, goes beyond recognition with two new structured judge feedback sections for every product entered, alongside greater judge transparency—giving producers a clearer understanding of not only how their products scored, but how they may succeed in global markets.

New For 2027: More Buyer-Led Feedback

At the next London Spirits Competition, judges will complete two dedicated feedback sections for every product entered, helping brands gain deeper insight beyond medals and scores alone.

Each brand will receive additional feedback on every product submitted, together with the detailed score breakdown for Quality, Value, and Packaging. Not only will brands see how they performed in all three judging criteria out of 100, but they will also receive two additional forms of constructive feedback.

How To Improve This Product

Judges will provide concise, constructive recommendations designed to help producers strengthen product performance. This may include observations around flavour balance, product quality, packaging, shelf appeal, positioning, pricing perception, or overall market readiness. The objective is simple: to give producers practical feedback that is professional, commercially useful, and actionable.

How To Market & Sell This Product

Judges will provide buyer-focused commercial feedback on how products may perform in the U.K. market. This may include insights related to retail positioning, shelf placement opportunities, route to market, pricing fit, consumer appeal, distributor potential, and suitability for independent retailers versus larger chains.

Greater Judge Transparency

The London Spirits Competition also introduces greater judging transparency.

As part of our commitment to trust and credibility, products may now display the names of the judges who evaluated them, helping producers better understand the expertise and buying perspective behind their results.

The 10th Edition Offers Producers More Than A Medal

As the London Spirits Competition celebrates its landmark 10th edition, spirits producers from around the world are invited to participate in a competition designed to recognize products that succeed not only on Quality, but also on Value and Packaging. Judged by active spirits buyers, importers, distributors, retailers, bartenders, bar managers, hospitality professionals, and drinks industry experts, the competition provides producers with insight into how their products perform from the perspective of those who make purchasing decisions every day.
